Welcome to Troop 4246 blog. I am the Girl Scout Leader, Brooke Cook. The reason I decided to start this blog so parents, friends, and loved ones can keep up with everything the girls are doing, and upcoming events.
I am excited for the future of the troop, getting to know the girls and the families. I am striving for the girls in the troop to have a lasting friendship, someone to always trust and talk to.
My goal is to help every girl become confident leaders who make a difference in the world around them, and have fun doing it.
I have never been a girl scout so this is all new for me, as well for most girls. My daughter was asked by a friend to join their troop. She was in the troop for about 6 weeks before I decided it would be a fun adventure to put my own troop together. So pass along the blog to friends and family.
One more thing, this blog is set us a public profile. I will not post any of the girls pictures, however, if parents would like to see the events the girls participate in I will set this blog to private. If the blog is set to private I will need to add you to the members list. As a member you log onto the blog thru google blogger, where you will be allowed to view the blog, and post comments. Let me know if you are intesterested in setting the blog to private and be able to view girls photos. If it is set to private extended family members will be able to view the blog once added onto the members list.
